A Work In Progress is a residential sober living home designed to allow residents to develop social skills, responsibility and create a new way life.  A Work In Progress along with local and state programs gives participants the opportunity to pursue and secure employment.

A Work In Progress (AWIP) fosters growth and recovery to female residents by providing sober, safe, and comfortable housing, in conjunction with opportunities to participate in programs based on the 12 steps of CA, AA, and NA.  A Work In Progress understands the special needs of recovering women and encourages all residents to take responsibility for their lives by:

• 1st following house guidelines
• 2nd attending group activities
• 3rd taking one step at a time

Here, we believe all of our residents are a work in progress and we continue to be successful in helping residents reenter society as independent, responsible citizens.  A Work In Progress is owned and operated by recovering addicts and alcoholics. We administer sobriety programs with zero-tolerance for alcohol and drug use.  Residents must strictly adhere to policies and will participate in random drug and alcohol screenings on a weekly basis.  This tight grip emphasizes the importance of sobriety.  You don't become sober overnight just because you decided to - you earn your right to be called "sober".  It takes work.  It takes self-control.  It takes cooperative participation in programs at A Work In Progress.

Rehabilitative Programs were designed to build confidence in residents that they can endure the trials associated with detox and possible relapses.  These programs point you to the direction of a healthier lifestyle when you rejoin your community.
